Leitrim National School is a Catholic, co-educational primary school, situated 8km from Loughrea, Co Galway. We welcome all children and are committed to providing a well ordered, caring, happy and secure environment in which each child can achieve their full intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural potential. We encourage the children in our care to develop their voice and talents and to grow into confident, caring members of the community.

Our school community, comprises of pupils, parents, teachers, staff and board of management and aims to foster a positive atmosphere where every child feels valued and respected.
